The EasyRx Team.

What is EasyRx?

EasyRx is universal lab prescription and 3D software for practices and labs. EasyRx was developed to help practices and labs better manage the entire lab prescription and digital workflow process.

EasyRx core features include:
• Write patient appliance, aligner and indirect bonding prescriptions using the EasyRx Universal Orthodontic Lab Prescription form
• Submit prescriptions to in-house and commercial labs
• Manage lab prescriptions using features like the Prescription Dashboard, Desktop Notifications and the EasyRx Daily Digest Email
• Attach, manage and edit digital files, including STL files.
• In-House lab management

EasyRx 3D is the easiest and fastest STL basing software available today.

EasyRx 3D Core features include:
• Optimize – EasyRx 3D auto optimizes STL scans, cleaning up and repairing the data for 3D printing
• Trim files - Use EasyModelTrim to trim the model
• Base files. Supports Hollow and Regular models with settings for base height, wall thickness and drain holes
• Label. Add embossed or engraved labels
• Save. Save files for 3D printing
• Integrations with 3D printer software like Preform from FormLabs

The software looks cool, but how will it benefit my practice?

-EasyRx provides one application to manage all practices prescriptions and supporting digital files. No longer log into different lab portals to submit and manage Rxs.

-The EasyRx Universal Orthodontic Lab Prescription Form. One universal form for all labs and all types of appliances. One form. Any lab – either your commonly used labs or try a new one. No piles of prescription forms to keep in the office. No longer remember which web portal to log in.

-Ease of looking at previous prescriptions: Don't search your file cabinet or dig through your folders on your computer. Access the EasyRx cloud in 1 (one) click to see your patients previous Rx's.

-Filling out patient information automatically using our software Integrations. One-click pulls your patient's data into an appliance prescription. Quicker prescriptions mean more time toward other productive tasks at your practice.

-Your prescription appliance templates give you more control: Previously you relied on the lab to have the correct template for "your" appliances. EasyRx allows you '1 click prescriptions' that auto-fill all the parts required for your appliances. Includes adding custom notes and special instructions.

-One click remakes/repairs for lost or broken appliances. Submit a new prescription for a lost retainer in seconds!

-Your lab prescriptions and STL files together and easily managed.

-Transparency of appliance cost: For labs that have pricing enabled within EasyRx, the price of your appliance comes up as you write the Rx. We encourage labs to add their appliance cost/pricing so your office can effectively budget before the appliance is even submitted.

-Communication: You expect your appliances to be accurate and handled efficiently: EasyRx provides you with a robust Message Center to communicate with your lab and even your practice's EasyRx users (Clinicians, In-house lab techs, clerical staff). All communication is secure and private, meeting HIPAA compliance standards to help protect your patient's privacy and avoid using PHI filled emails.

-EasyRx 3D. If you are 3D printing, EasyRx 3D is the easiest and fastest STL basing software available on the market.

Great to hear! We love demoing EasyRx. Web demos work great for EasyRx and take about 45 minutes or so. Click on the button to schedule your demo.

I want to take a look at EasyRx, how do I schedule a demo?

I currently use my lab's portal and a file sharing program (Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, etc) - how is EasyRx different?

We like to think this is sort of like a doctor saying years ago "my paper system is fine, why do I need practice management?" or "why do I need orthodontic imaging software when I can use Photoshop?". EasyRx is leading the transition from proprietary lab Rx systems, combined with all-purpose third party file storage solutions to an application developed for orthodontic lab prescription management.

Here are a few reasons EasyRx is better

-EasyRx provides one application for all practices prescriptions, both for in-house and commercial
-Third party file-sharing services were not built to manage orthodontic lab prescriptions, like EasyRx.
-You manage all of your lab prescriptions from a single login and one application. No longer juggle multiple logins to different sites
-EasyRx allows you to create, attach, manage, and submit your lab prescriptions and supporting files (like STL) from one application.
-In a few clicks, you can access all your patient's STL files, appliance history, and track your cases progress.
-Communicate easily and securely using the EasyRx Message Center.
-EasyRx runs on Amazon's secure servers which help your practice stay HIPAA compliant
-Our available practice management integration allows you to instantly pull your patients' data into your appliance prescription, saving you valuable time.
-EasyRx maintains your data per ADA and HIPAA mandates.
-EasyRx is easy to use (hey, we had to say it!)

I do not use a 3D Scanner - how will EasyRx benefit my practice?

Did you know that not all EasyRx customers have 3D scanners? That's right-- EasyRx provides benefits to your practice whether you still doing traditional plaster models or impressions or do a blend of both plaster and digital models.

Practices that are doing traditional impressions or plaster models can use EasyRx to:

-Create your lab prescriptions in seconds
-Ease of looking up prescription history for patients
-Request remakes/repairs in 1 click
-Optionally Print an Rx Prescription form that is neat, legible and can be included in the box with the patient models.
-See the status of your cases (when the lab checked it in, when it’s been shipped, access tracking numbers)
-Securely communicate with your lab and clinical staff using our Message Center and Notifications
-Filling out patient information automatically using our Practice Management Integration.
-Store Rx history securely for per ADA and HIPAA compliance mandates
-Write the unique Prescription ID number on the box or baggie your model is contained in, eliminating the need to write or print sensitive patient data. Your lab can easily match this number in EasyRx to match the model to the correct Rx with all the necessary info!

EasyRx is the perfect solution to enhance your current workflow in managing your lab prescription - request a demo today and see the benefits for yourself!

What if my labs(s) does not accept cases via EasyRx?

EasyRx is mainly for your practice, not the lab. It was designed and built primarily to improve the practice/patient/doctor/staff experience. The choice to use EasyRx in a practice is the doctors, not the lab or lab technicians. This is why we offer EasyRx to labs at no charge -- so you can tell your labs you want to send them cases via EasyRx. From EasyRx, you can invite your lab to sign-up as a Connected Lab. As a Connected lab, the lab can receive cases and supporting digital files in EasyRx, along with check-in, ship and communicate securely with your practice.

However, if they prefer a more manual process: Just print out the EasyRx prescription and mail or email to your lab. And you can still benefit from all the great features of EasyRx!

We encourage you to ask your lab to check out EasyRx or contact us and we'd be excited to follow up with your lab to show them what they are missing out on and what you, as their customer, will gain by them using EasyRx as a lab!

How do I get started?

Well, It is easy- It's in our name so we have to live up to it, after all! Once you sign up, we'll email you a 'how to get started guide' complete with steps and screenshots. It is what a modern digital practice should be doing!

I have multiple sites/locations/offices, how does that work?

Since EasyRx is 100% cloud, this is a non-issue. We support multiple office locations from 1 account, saving you time, money, and most of all: the need to memorize multiple login credentials!

You can connect from anywhere; multiple-location, from home, from the beach, where ever. There are no user license fees. Your fees are based on your selected monthly plan, submitted prescriptions, and storage. We believe in working smart by giving users great accessibility.

I have multiple in-house labs, how does that work?

EasyRx Premium includes one configured in-house lab. If your practice has multiple in-house labs, you should sign-up for EasyRx Lab - Premium or Enterprise, which allows for multiple sites to be created.

What file types can be attached to a prescription?

Well, about every standard file type out there, including STL, PDF, JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF, BMP, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. The list is kind of endless. If you run across a file type we don't support, please let us know!

Do I have to design on the digital Prescription Workspace to create a prescription and attach a STL file?

No, you don't. You can create a prescription for a patient and only attach the necessary files, like the lab's prescription form in PDF format and the STL files, then submit it to your lab. This still give you many of the prescription tracking benefits your prescriptions and digital files are connected and you benefit from STL storage and management. So, if this works for you, this works for us.

Of course, we think the Prescription Workspace is pretty cool and efficient, but it isn't required.

Do I keep ownership of my data?

Yes, you own your data and this is clearly stated in our License Agreement and Terms of Use.

What if I want to stop using EasyRx?

No problem (except we will be a little disappointed). At any time you can cancel from the Billing Options page. Cancellation is immediate and you only pay for the number of days you have used EasyRx in the current month.

How does EasyRx know the standard pricing from my lab?

Labs can optionally configure standard pricing for all of their parts, appliances and templates and options like tech time. If your lab doesn't have pricing configured on EasyRx, you can let them know to add it. All lab accounts have the ability to list pricing for their customers to see the cost of an Rx before it's submitting.

How does the pricing of prescriptions get updated?

EasyRx can access the lab's standard pricing as prescriptions are created and submitted because EasyRx is 100% cloud. No need to sync, download, or wait for updates. The program can access all needed data real time. Now, that is pretty cool.

On what technologies is EasyRx developed?

EasyRx is built on the most current web technologies and is referred to as a LAMP stack - Linux, Apache, My SQL, PHP. These technologies are widely used by many cloud based applications.

What about security?

We understand security is so important, we devoted an entire page to Security. Visit our security page for more information:
